The Old Parliament House was formerly known as the Provisional Parliament house and was the home of the Parliament of Australia from 1927 to 1988. Its operation began on 1927 and was used as a temporary base for the Commonwealth Parliament.
This three storey building having principal floor on the middle level was designed in a simple and functional manner. The place is worth visiting for its interior and exterior designs and for the King’s Hall.
