The Sydney Town Hall is a beautiful sandstone building and a popular landmark in Sydney. Standing alongside St. Andrew’s Cathedral and opposite to the Queen Victoria Building, this historic building was built in the 1880s in grand Victorian architectural style. Inside, one can get to see the reception rooms, the Sydney City Council Chamber, offices for the Lord Mayor and the elected councilors along with the Centennial Hall.
