Not too many people would gest that Canberra is the capital of Australia, many would guess Sidney or Melbourne. Despite its more famous neighbours, Canberra is home to Australia's political symbols.
If you find yourself in the city go visit the modern Parliament House designed by Romaldo Giugola in 1981 combining modern and minimalist styles. But Canberra offers also an older version of the parliament as well built in 1927 in a colonial style.
