Hellbrunn Castle is few kilometres far from Salzburg centre and is easily reachable thanks to the efficient public transports. It was a summer residence built by Marcus Sitticus, in the first half of the XVII century and represents an example of Baroque architecture. The castle is richly furnished and open to the public. The main attraction is a fascinating park with waterworks. In the garden there is also an artificial cave: also inside it, there are some sudden water sprays coming from the walls at different levels and with different intensity.
It was a dream of Prince Archbishop Markus Sitticus of Hellbrunn palace which is set in a beautiful park. The palace and the park were built by architect Santino Solari at the beginning of the 17th century and has spacious... more parklands, with famous trick fountains. There are also many cultural events and the zoo ensures that anybody who visits the palace will get an unforgettable experience. The magical fountain is one such great and amazing fountain which plays tricks when a person passes through it.
