Description

UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1996, this former imperial residence of the Habsburgs dating back to the sixteenth century. With the adjacent buildings and the surrounding park, full of buildings, statues, fountains and a zoo make this site one of the most interesting places in Austria and one of the must-see attractions of the city of Vienna.

The palace, with its surrounding gardens and buildings, has been the site for various historical events, clearly demonstrated by the beautiful interiors and rooms of the palace. Visitors should not miss the Tirolian Garden consisting of a preserved hut, orchard and a pasture farm. It also features a palm house which has lush vegetation.
