The Observatoire or the Observatoire de la capitale is a perfect and exciting way for seeing a lot of sights if one is in the beautiful city of Quebec. It actually is a 727 feet high tower providing free view over the majestic city.

The prominent St.Lawrence river, the Laurentian and Appalachian mountains, lle-d'Orleans, Citadel and the city fortifications, Plains of Abraham, Price building and Levis are some of the sights one can see from the top of the tower.

Being a high rise tower, it is a major attraction in Quebec City and easily visible from a long distance. It is one of the key spots not to be missed out by individuals who are interested in the history of the city.
