Known by the locals as Bleší trh, the Flea Market Kolbenova is the largest and most popular place to shop for antiques in Prague. You will most certainly find the knick-knacks you are looking for here. This market is a great place to go if you are dedicated to your quest of finding a diamond in the rough.
Flea Market Kolbenova opens at 7 am and lasts until 2 pm, and most people swear by the idea that it is well worth getting out of bed early to come down and check out the great things you can find. The large open-field smorgasbord offers things like old toys, musical instruments, new and used clothes, glass products, books, and every type of jewelry and bric-a-brac one can think imagine. However, if you are looking for art and paintings, you probably will not find them here.
You can get to this flea market by taking a right out of the Kolbenova Metro Station. The market charges 10CZK for admission, and also has food and beverage stands where you can take a break, and even have a beer while hunting for that special Czech Republican antique vase you’re looking for.
