Gammeltorv is known to be the oldest square in Copenhagen city. Along with Nytov square, Gammeltorv is situated in Storget and has old patrician houses which dates back to 1800. There are also many beautiful fountains and lawns here at the square which are rather beautiful and amazing to see. This is a scenic site to walk through when visiting Copenhagen city. Gammeltorv also known as the old square is even a pedestrian street. Moreover, this fountain square has provided drinking water to the citizens since the 1600s.
