Kongens Nytorv, also known by the name, King’s New Square is a square situated in central part of Copenhagen city. This square is located at one end of Stroget and was designed by Christian V in the year 1670. The square has an equestrian statue of Christian V and there are also notable buildings around this square. Some of the historic building includes the Charlottenborg, the Royal Danish Theater and the French Embassy. This square is known as the most exclusive designed squares in the city.
