The Church of Notre-Dame d'Espérance is located in Cannes, on the hill in the district of Le Suquet. The edifice was not completed until late seventeenth century, but despite this, it maintains the Provençal Gothic style. The most important piece is a wooden panel of the fourteenth or fifteenth century, as well as the Statues (also wooden) of St. Anne and Notre-Dame d'Espérance, the latter is worshiped by the fishermen of the city for her healing powers.
