One modern, particular, and spectacular attraction in Nice is definitely the Tete Carrè, a piece of modern art made in 2002 by the french artist Sacha Sosno. The Tete Carrè is a monumental sculpture about 30 meters high that is venue for the Louis Nucera Library, the main library in the city. The sculpture is the first in the world to be thought and built so that people could be hosted inside. It is built according to naval techniques, and it is the first sculpture to be entirely made in aluminum, that gives it an extremely modern look of an industrial architecture. Located in the center of Nice, it is easily recognizable because of its shape of a stylized human head with a quadratic shape.
