The Carillon is located on the neo-Gothic facade of the Rathaus (Town hall) of Munich in Marienplatz, the main square of the city, and in summer is activated at 11 am, at 12 pm and 11 pm. The characters parade and there is a duel between two knights where one of the two falls. At 11 pm after the turn of the carillon there is a mechanic cock that chirps.
