Ludwigskirche is situated in Old Saarbrucken in Germany. This is a Protestant baroque style church. This historic monument is the symbol of the city and is known as the most significant protestant churches in Germany along with St. Michaelis Church and Dresden Frauenkirche in Hamburg. Ludwigskirche and its surrounding area, Ludwigsplatz, were designed as a complete work of art by Friedrich Joachim Stengel. Its construction began in 1762 and finally completed in 1775.
