The museum covers six hundred square meters within the HSH Nordbank Arena (formerly the AOL Arena) in Hamburg, the same stadium that hosted the Germany World Cup in 2006.

Here you can learn everything about the history of Hamburger SV, the football club founded in 1887. There are nine rooms, each with a special theme, including "Legends", "Sportplatz am Rothenbaum" (the name of the stadium where the team used to play); there's even a “quiz tunnel” in which you are asked questions about football (obviously)!

You can also see football shirts, cups, and even look around Franz Beckenbauer’s locker. The museum isn’t just for football fans, and, by the way, we recommend booking a guided tour.
