Deutsches Museum is the largest museum of science and technology in the world. It is located at Museumsinsel 1, 80538 in Munich, Germany. Millions of tourists visit this place every year. It holds a compilation of more than 28, 000 ... Vedi tutto objects dealing with 50 different fields of technology and science. The museum was opened in June 1903. The museum sits on a small island of the River Isar. This island was used for wood rafting in the middle ages. The first dynamo engine by Siemens can be viewed in this museum. Besides this, one can see various musical instruments, historical printing presses, the first automobile by Benz and several electrical demonstrations. There are also some interactive models like coal mines and planetarium in the museum. Visitors can actually enter these models and learn more about stars and coal mining. The museum can be visited from 9 am- 5 pm daily except on public holidays
