Rich in gothic religious architecture, the city center even survived World War II unharmed. Stralsund is a historic old town amidst water, which gives it an island feel, home to ports, ferries and sailors. The main interesting points here are the Brick Gothic which is a historical center and also a UNESCO World Heritage Site, other than the old market square along with the Gothic town hall and many other churches and old fashioned structures of the past periodical era.
