Overall Guide : I've been going to Naxos for more then 20 years and ok prices have changed since the old days but the people are still genuine once you get to know them. The whole island is like living in a small... more town somewhere in the backwoods. So you better not act pretentious, just treat the locals as you would your own family and they will in return.
Not to be missed The Old Town , The castle
Overall rating 10
Overall Guide : Naxos is the biggest island of Cyclades, therefore it has many traditional villages, many beautiful beaches and lots of great restaurants which serve delicious dishes made with local products. Naxos is an ideal place for family vacations and romantic getaways but... more it is also a great destination for windsurfers and people who like hiking.
Not to be missed Apollo's Temple (Portara) , The Old Town , Agios Prokopios Beach

Overall Guide : Fantastic place to visit - now on the top of my list along with Santorini (ok - and the rest of Greece if I'm honest). No I'm not Greek. Food on Naxos is superb and the people are wonderful. An... more island with everything. We hired a car (cheap as!) and went exploring all over the island. I'll be more fit next time and go higher up Mt Zas.
Not to be missed Food on the waterfront in Chora , Stay at Naxos Resort , Mt Zas
