Victoria Park is famous for the magnificent statue of Queen Victoria on her throne. The park also includes children's play areas, a swimming pool and a central lawn. The Car Street is a must-visit place for all the visitors. The street is crammed with antique shops, gifts and eclectic souvenirs. The city is also known for the Chinese temples. Man Mo Temple, built in the 1800s is known as one of the most conveniently-situated temples. The 10000 Buddha’s Temple, Chi Lin Nunnery, Tin Hau Temple, Che Kung Temple and Wong Tai Sin Temple are a few other temples worth visiting.

Overall Guide : I must admit we were fortunate to stay with friends, however this only enhanced a very enjoyable holiday. The flight (Emirates A380) set us off on a great start, and it just got better. The transportation was cheap, whether by ... Leggi tutto tram or MTR (which is superb. There was no hint of us being unsafe, even though we did manage to lose ourselves in the 'old quarter' a couple of times. If you really to eat 'McDonalds' then that is available but the local Chinese food leaves our 'takeaway chinese' in the shade. Be a bit adventurous and enjoy it - you won't regret it, and there is lots to do.
