Chowpatty Beach is the most famous beach in Mumbai other than the Juhu beach. The children can enjoy the pony rides and ferry rides. The wayside astrologers use this as a fine opportunity to make some quick money. One can also view the shows of monkey-trainers, snake charmers, contortionists, beebee-gun shooting galleries and professional masseurs. There are stalls that offer local delicacies like the Kulfi, Pani Puri and Pav Bhaji. It is rather tough to resist the temptation of eating ‘bhel-puri.’
