Bhainsrorgarh Fort is a boutique heritage hotel in Chittorgarh District, about 50 km from Kota, in the state of Rajasthan, India.
The hotel was originally a fort built on the river Chambal, now restored to offer its guests a luxurious accommodation which preserves the charm of an ancient castle.
The hotel has five Suites distributed on three floors, and overlooking the river all suites offer wonderful views. Another set of 04 Deluxe rooms would be operational by October , 2011.
All rooms are air-conditioned and have overhead fans, and attached bathrooms with a shower. Hot water bottles and heaters are provided on particularly cold nights and hot water is plentiful. Unlimited complimentary mineral water is provided. Each room has a hair dryer and tea / coffee making machines. Bathrobes are provided in every room.
The river is dammed downstream so is always full and looks truly beautiful all year round. The fort sits on the cliff edge and the views down to the crocodile filled river and across the plains are endless. Having only recently opened its doors to visitors, it is family run and a homely place to stay. There are terraces and shady verandahs to sit on, along with large gardens and acres of ruins to explore. The walking, riding and picnicking is second to none and exploring the surrounding village is like being in a time warp.
Dinning: There is one dining room where meals are taken. On warmer days, meals are also taken on the terrace, overlooking the Chambal and early even drinks and barbecues are held on the green lawns down in the garden and also over looking the Chambal. The hotel offers a buffet and table d’hote dining comprised of delicious Indian and local / family Rajasthan recipes. Room service is also readily available. Beer, wine and spirits are available.

The resort accepts children of all ages. Children may be accommodated in their parent’s bedroom free of charge until the age of 7 and at a discounted rate from 7 - 12. There will be an extra charge if more than one child wishes to share the room.
