Emperor Jehangir, Akbar’s son had an affinity for gardens and flowers and hence he built many gardens in and around Agra.
The Grape garden is one such formal garden that stretches in front of the Khas Mahal and the Golden Pavilions.
Despite its size, this garden bears several grapes every year which are exported to various regions in the world. This garden is very famous not only amongst the residents of Agra but also in the tourists as its one of the major sightseeing options.
The spectacular branches of the grape vines that lean down due to the weight of grape bunch are simply delightful to watch
