The Uluwatu Beach in Bali is well known for surfing as many people from all over the world come to this beach destination for surfing and enjoying other watersport activities as well.

The restaurants serve delicious seafood delicacies. The major attraction at this beach is the ancient Pura Luhur Uluwatu temple which is situated on a steep cliff. This was built in the 11th century during the era of Empu Kuturan.
People coming to the temple are expected to dress appropriately and bring suitable footwear for climbing the cliff. There are local people selling shirts, handicrafts and providing massage services however one needs to be careful while buying anything and check the authenticity of the article.
