While Rena Bianca is the only beach in walking distance of Santa Teresa di Gallura - in fact, the small town just ends there, you can’t miss it - the province has a handy “beach bus” that takes you to all the great Emerald Coast beaches, and La Marmorata, just east of Santa Teresa di Gallura, is not to be missed on its route.
Much less crowded than Rena Bianca even in the high season, it’s still got the impossibly clear waters and the fine sand Sardinia is known for.
Marmorata, the town that hosts its eponymous beach, is even less populated that STG (every road has the same name!) and has only one stabilimento or beach club, so if you’re planning on spending the day bring everything you need with you!!
