Rocca di Papa is a town and comune in Lazio, Italy about 25 km south-east of Rome. As one of the famous Roman Castles, Rocca di Papa enjoys an amazing location at 680m above sea level right in the heart of a national park with stunnings views to the countryside and over the whole of Rome below.
Although small in size, Rocca di Papa features numerous sights for passionate tourists. Bring your trainers and walk around the steep and narrow cobbled streets of the 'città storica' hitoric centre and stop by the Papal Fortress, Church of the Assunta and the Convent of Palazzolo.
