Lucca Monuments and Historic Buildings: Pfanner Palace

Palazzo Pfanner is inside the walls on the north of the old town of Lucca and was built in 1667. This historic building is noted for its open two storey loggia with staircase and it is also a pleasant-sounding Renaissance creation. Palazzo Pfanner has one of the most beautiful gardens in the town. This house was designed by Genoese architect for the Moriconi family, who were a merchant family of Lucca and who traded in silk.
