HeaderPageTitle-GetPartialViewNoCache = 0,0009768

The Palatine Chapel is located inside the Palace of the Normans.

Erected in 1130 by King Roger II and dedicated to Saints Peter and Paul, it is adorned with splendid Byzantine mosaics and enriched with decorations and paintings in Arabic style.

With its seamless fusion of Latin, Byzantine and Arab styles, the Palatine Chapel is the symbol of cultural synthesis and the policy operated by the Normans in Sicily.
