The Palazzo dei Priori in Perugia is the most renowned civic structures, built by the Italian communes of Central Italy during the high middle ages. Built to house the city governments, the palace hosts the Nationalgallery of Umbria, the MerchantsGuild and also the ExchangeGuilds. This historic building is worth visiting for its marvelous medieval period architectural work, red and white marble and interior as well as exterior art.
