Museum of Wine in Santa Teresa di Gallura
Set into the terraced hills of inland Sardinia, just behind Santa Teresa di Gallura in Berchidda on Via Grazia Deledda, is the awesome Museum of Wine. While the museum itself is no Louvre, its 3-euro admission fee gets you the good stuff - and by good stuff, I mean a wine tasting in a gorgeous setting!!
Try the local Vermentino di Gallura, which most of the museum is dedicated to. There are also some pretty interesting exhibits that teach visitors ancient winemaking techniques, and multimedia presentations on the terroir of the region. But, come on, who are wee kidding - wine tasting! Make sure to leave time to walk the grounds and take in the stunning views. Just don't forget that Sardinian red is typically some of the strongest red wine around!
