The Parco Fauna Orobica is spread in a vast area, situated in Bergamo. The place has abundance of rainfall favoring growth of deciduous forests. Lush coniferous forests are also found in the region making park green and beautiful. Two endemic plant species are found here which are considered as two botanic pearls: Sanguisorba dodecandra and viola Comollia, rare plants grown in the eastern part of the plants. Most remarkable amongst all is alpine fauna, presenting huge populations of deer, charmois and roe deer as well as newly reintroduced ibex. There are numerous birds and grouses here. It’s a perfect holiday destination to spend time with family and friends.
