Piazza del Popolo is the most significant place of Faenza, evidenced by the presence of many historical buildings that overlook it. Precious and interesting, in fact, the architectural elements you can find in every corner of the square, which also has an ancient origin: the loggia of Palazzo Manfredi and the palace of the Podesta are just two of the important and the most valuable historical structures that are located on the square. They’re the result of interventions and works made over the time, which gave them the stylish appearance you can see today.
Piazza del Popolo surprised thanks to the symmetry that characterizes it, because just at a first glance you can see the specularity of galleries, which look like stage sets.
Currently, the square is not only a space full of symbolic meanings in the city, but it’s also an important melting pot.
