Piazza del Plebiscito is known to be one of the largest squares in Naples. Named for the plebiscite, it is situated close to the gulf of Naples. To its east, one can see the Royal Palace and to the west is the church of San Francisco di Paola having colonnades extending to its both sides.
This square is dedicated to the unification of Italy in the year 1870. Many stroll here or simply sit and relax underneath this huge square. Near the square, one can see the Pompeii Ruins, the Capodimonte Museum and opt for the Naples Underground Tour.
