Foro Italico in Palermo
The Foro Italico is the promenade of Marina di Palermo, the street that overlooks the sea.
The garden is decorated with many Mediterranean plants and crossed by a series of tree-lined avenues with benches.
The area is also suitable for those who want to take some exercise, thanks to the bike path that runs along the sea and the long coastal walking path.
The Foro Italico has become a true work of art thanks to the presence of sculptures by architect Italo Rota.
Within the Foro Italico you can find the Nautoscopio, a house-observatory which can rise 15 meters and rotate 360 degrees.
