Esquilino, along with the close San Giovanni, is a famous neighborhood in Rome, Lazio. Named after the Esquiline hill, where it stands, the place is partly a Chinese immigrants neighborhood too.
Whilst here, tourists can see many specialty groceries other than shoe stores. Sights here worth visiting are the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore and the gardens in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele. Another place of interest, for shopping lovers, is the MAS (Magazzini allo Statuto), a big discount shop where you can find whatever you want and need.
