Designed in 1564 by Vitozzi, Castle Square is lined with porticoes and is situated in the heart of the city of Turin. One can see historic buildings that witnessed the city development, right from the ancient Roman era to modern age. This square is totally surrounded by arcades on three sides in four, with every arcade built in different era. At the center of the square is the Palazzo Madama.
