Azabu Juban Festival is one of the metro area’s most beloved festivals of Tokyo. The festival is hosted by shopping streets of Azabu-Juban district every summer for three days in the third weekend of August. This famous summer street festival attracts over 10,000 people every year turning narrow streets of Azabu Juban into an abundant mass of people. The festival features stalls selling traditional Japanese food and crafts, an international bazaar providing food from all around the world making the festival worthy of a visit.
This place is busy with hundreds of people wandering, roaming and queuing up for food available at many of the stalls. One can enjoy the performances of brass band parades and dances performed during the festival along with several other entertainment activities. Music programs featuring jazz and Hawaiian music round out the evening. Plenty of beer and chuhai are also available to help its visitors keep cool.
