Taito in Tokyo
Taito is a district in Tokyo, Japan. It is one of the 23 special wards of Tokyo, founded on March 15, 1947. Ueno Station is a major hub of this place connecting it to various other lines. There are many other places worth visiting in Taito and is a perfect destination to explore. While visiting Taito, one must visit Asakusa known for Senso-ji temple and Ueno, a place packed full of museums and Tokyo’s best-known cherry blossom viewing spot. The Shitamachi museum Annex, situated in Taito is small museum housing sake and beer equipment. SCAI the Bathhouse is a small gallery in Taito displaying the work of contemporary artist which earlier use to be the bathhouse or sento.
Those who would like to explore the historical landmarks in the region must visit Kyu-lawasaki-tie Teien which earlier was the lawasaki family house and garden built in a Meiji era.
