Jeita Grotto is a compound of interconnected karstic limestone caves and are two caves separated from each other. The lower cave was discovered in 1836 by Reverend William Thomson and the upper cave was discovered by Lebanese speleologists. In 1995, this natural wonder was open to the public. During the summer, visitors can visit the upper and the lower galleries and enjoy the cool temperature inside these caves.

Visit the two caves of jeita that were to be one of the 7 natural wonders of the world, and after that you can take a short drive taxi to the jounie cable car station to check the Harissa statue ... Vedi tutto that overlooks the bay, similar to christ the redeemer statue in Rio de Janeiro.
