Pusat Sains Negara (National Science Centre in English) is a science centre located in the city of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Set up on a hill top, on an 8 hectare area of landscaped grounds, the centre was opened on November 29th, 1996 by then Prime Minister of the country Tun Dr Mahathir bin Mohamad. The chief mission of this science centre is to encourage better understanding and greater interest in science and technology.
The building of the center looks like a truncated cone covered with a beautiful geodesic dome. The center features exhibitions on pathways to discovery, environmental odyssey, future world and also the thinking machines.
