Central Market is one of the main attractions in Kuala Lumpur, situated at Jalan Hang Kasturi and is called as Pasar Budaya or Pasar Seni. Built in 1888, the market was used originally as a wet market for the citizens and tin miners; this is a heritage site as per the Malaysian Heritage Society and now a landmark for Malaysian heritage. Presently, this landmark offers one stop shopping center for all. The products include handicrafts and a wide variety of Malaysian cuisine. At present, the market is home to lots of souvenir stalls and shops that sell arts and crafts. Some of the attractions include the Malacca Jonker Street.

The Central Market is yet another major attraction in Kuala Lumpur city. It is like a hub for shopping and cultural venues. This is an ideal place where one can see the real Malaysian culture. The shops here hold a ... Vedi tutto wide variety of goods, including handicrafts, artistic objects and souvenirs. Shoppers can get great deals in the market, as these objects are available at reasonable prices. Visitors can also get custom made arts and paintings from the artists who display their works in these shops. The building of the Central Market is in existence since 1988. As, it was built in British era; the building possesses a Western Art Deco. The Central Market adjoins an amphitheater, which lies on the banks of the river. This amphitheater holds enormous number of cultural and art shows and workshops throughout the year. These shows offer a complete package of entertainment for visitors. They can participate in the art and craft workshop which take place in this amphitheater.
