Zacheta National Gallery of Art - Art galleries in Warsaw
The majestic building that houses the gallery was built between 1898 and 1900 by the architect Stefan Szyller. Here the works of some of the greatest Polish artists are kept. Not accidentally, it is considered to be the most prestigious and the biggest contemporary art gallery of all Poland. It includes a collection of respectable Polish post-war works of art. But the gallery also houses Paul Cezanne, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec and Pablo Picasso masterpieces. Inside the gallery reading sessions, bookfairs, meetings with authors, films, concerts, workshops and many other events take place.
Opening time: Tuesday to Sunday from 12am to 8pm
