Sopot Beaches : Best Beaches in Sopot, Poland
If you are in Sopot, the best place to dig your toes in the sand is right next to the Pier on Sopot Beach. During the summer months, its when all the festivities take place, with impromptu volleyball games, concerts, and parties happen during the day.
If you are brave enough to take a dip into the water for an afternoon swim, your best bet would be in late August or early September when the water is warm enough, otherwise be prepared to swim in the icy cold Baltic waters during the rest of the year. The sand is reasonably soft and clean for the most part and is usually packed during the weekends during the summer.
If you are visiting the Sopot Beach, keep your beers at home, as it’s illegal to drink on the beach. Otherwise, bring your towel, sunscreen (the summer months can reach up to 30 degrees Celcius) and a good book to read, because there’s no better place in Poland to relax on the beach.
