If you are taking an open-air tour bus around Krakow to soak in as many sites and attractions of the city, St. Joseph’s Church is sure to be a highlight on your route. Dating back from 1832 (a baby in age, considering how old some Polish churches are), St. Joseph’s is a small church with a short, squat tower, but is extremely rich in its decoration.
Built with a neo-Gothic style that was popular during the 19th century, the interior is equally rick and Gothic in style, with cross-ribbed vaulting and a little circle of chapels that surround the chancel. Standing beside the church is a classicist inn building dating from the late 18th century which has since been adapted for use as a vicarage.
