St. Mary's Basilica, a Brick Gothic church, was initially constructed in the early thirteenth century. Reconstructed in the fourteen century, the church is located nearby the main Market Square in Krakow. Predominantly famed for its altarpiece made with wood and designed by Veit Stoss, the church is one of the most popular sites of the city. A trumpet signal called the Hejnal mariacki is played every hour from the peak of the taller of the church’s two towers.

The church of the Virgin Mary is also known as St. Mary’s Basilica and is a Brick Gothic church built in the 14th century. This historic building is adjacent to the Main Market Square and stands 80 meter tall. It ... Vedi tutto is popular for its wooden altarpiece which is carved by Veit Stoss. This building served as an architectural model for lots of churches which were built by the Polish Diaspora.
