Saxon Place is located in Warsaw, Poland. It is one of the most distinctive buildings in Poland. The Saxon Place is one of the private places of the Morsztyn family. In the 19th century, it housed the WarsawLyceum. With the neoclassical architectural style its construction started since 1666. During the WorldWar II this place was completely destroyed, with the exception of the central part of the arcade housing the tomb of the Unknown Soldier, worth visisting.It was demolished in 1944 and plans are to reconstruct this historic building since 2006.
