This palace was purchased in the year 1750 by Frederick the Great who belonged to Prussia. Thereafter, it was converted in to a ‘Royal Residence’. In the year 1945, i.e. at the time of World War II, this building got badly damaged. Around 50%25 of the construction still stands erect; housing the ‘City Museum’.
