Copernicus Science Centre in Warsaw
This really modern centre dedicated to Nicolaus Copernicus was opened in November 2010. It is located in the city centre and hosts interactive exhibitions, a planetarium and a conference centre. The aim is to arouse curiosity and debates about scientific themes. Here, thanks to selected experiments, some complex phenomena become easy to understand. The museum organizes exhibitions, workshops, scientific debates and represents one of the most modern centres of this kind in all Europe. It is open all days except for Mondays.
Opening time: Tuesday-Friday: 9am-6pm (last entrance 5pm). Saturday and Sunday: 10am-7pm (last entrance 6pm).
Tickets: full price 22PNL; reduced price 1 : students up to 26 years old and over 65: 16PNL; reduced price 2: children, students between 2 and 19 years old and disabled: 13 PNL.
