The Warsaw Uprising Museum is a museum which is dedicated to the Warsaw Uprising of 1944. It opened in 2004 and has strong support of the Warsaw public and is known as the most modern museum in Poland. This museum sponsors research into the Uprising history and possessions of the Polish Underground State. It collects and even maintains hundreds of artifacts. The director of the museum is Jan Oldakowski. Some of the highlights of the museum include the replica of the Kubus armored car.
