There’s a reason why young Poles look so good – they regularly keep active and good genes, perhaps. When visiting Sopot beach, you can’t help both locals and tourists alike engaging in various pick-up games, whether be volleyball or sand soccer (or football, if you must).
One popular watersport that makes waves throughout Poland is windsurfing. During the summer months, Sopot’s beaches are filled with scattered surfboards and enthusiasts that hit the Baltic Sea waves in anticipation of some good wind and a good race. There are plenty of equipment rental spots, but it’s advised that you bring your own, as they can be pricey. For more information or for windsurfing lessons, check out the Sopocki Klub Zeglarski or call +48 58 551 68 98.
