It’s not easy neighboring one of the country’s top party towns, but Gdansk is slowly getting the hang of having its own nightlife, despite being next door to party-all-the-time Sopot. The crowd tends to be more artsy and quieter than their Sopot counterparts, but if you’re in town and looking for a fun night out, you’re in luck.
To start your night, check out Brovarnia, which boasts some of the best beers outside of Belgium. This microbrewery gets crowded on the weekends, so come early. Other good watering holes include Café Goldwasser and Café Absinthe, which some of Gdansk’s more questionable characters seem to frequent.
