The Sopot Promenade in Sopot
The Sopot Promenade is located on the city’s busiest street, the Bohaterow Monte Cassino. It’s where tourists and the hip crowd along with a sprinkle of celebrities come out to eat, shop, and play. Never the spot of a dull moment, Sopot’s social life revolves around this boulevard.
The street runs downhill from St. George’s Church all the way to the Sopot Pier and beaches. Named after the heroes of a battle in Italy between the Germans and Poles in World War II, the street is home to Sopot’s top bars, restaurants, and lounges as well as the “Crooked House,” which is a stand-alone attraction in its own right, and home to the best sushi in town. It is also Sopot’s most expensive and desired real estate area.
There are a number of entertainment attractions as well as street entertainers during the weekend, with plenty of nightlife options as well. If you visit Poland’s tri-state area, the Monte Cassino Street is a simple must, with people flooding the area almost every day during the summer months.
